I progressed through multiple interviews and received a formal offer. I requested an additional week of vacation to help offset the lower compensation and asked to confirm understanding of a few pre-scheduled days off due to prior commitments. Communication then stopped and I was later told I was viewed as "difficult" for raising these reasonable points.

one skype followed by onsite interview. very basic behavioural interview. not technical. interviewed by CEO and head hr. asked about family background. process was smooth. No waiting period. Immediately was made the offer.
