5 SQL questions - Take time to go through each question and call out what you are doing as the interviewer will keep jumping in asking questions or commenting which will derail you 3 Python questions - Same as above even if you feel time-pressured x data modelling questions on how you would model a recruitment site - Again do a couple of these beforehand and create a prescripted answer to give you clear structure to be able to answer quickly or be ahead of any of their questions before they ask Unfortunately, this screening process is super robotic. It's a bit unfortunate as I imagine they screen a hell of a lot of talent out or they pass 6 months down the line simply because they understand what these interviews are. Cannot stress enough this is an interview where the most prepped person will pass regardless of technical level as it is very time-pressured
The recruiter never set the right expectations with me.I felt they were dishonest about HM expectations during some rounds.By the way anyone appearing for this position , please be aware they dont care about your experience in stakeholder management , understanding buisness or strategizing but only care about how you solve LC Medium questions.They should be honest about this in the JD and clearly welcome only SWEs or SDMs(S/w Development Manager).I dont understand the reason for wasting candidate's time by being dishonest.

A design question for a hardware-software system. The interviewer kept it generic, which added to the difficulty of the interview. I had to (1) switch from an end-to-end system design (EM level) to a low-level system design, (2) account for the super generic question while giving enough technical trade-offs, (3) not lose time time building a make-believe scenario as the interviewer was not looking for spec collection but rather a generic deep-dive.
