Coding interviews were mostly algorithms+coding without any reference or reliance on my prior experience. Newly grad that prepared well could have passed this type of questions. Of course, a lot of "signal" is gathered by how you approach the problem, your communication and pace. System design was around getting a very high level requirement for a system, required analyzing the problem, asking the right questions and proposing a solution. Part of the interview was to check my general sense of "engineering numbers" (e.g. how many such requests would you expect a single machine could handle?). Leadership interviews were mostly around my past experience, using examples of building teams, leading projects, dealing with low performers, etc.

Unlike many other companies, they had me to talk in details about things I built at my previous job. This is something I personally like to ask candidates a lot as it yields tons of useful information. I was happy to see them doing the same.
I received no interview questions, but it shouldn't take over a month to reject an applicant for an engineering management role. Either you know what you're looking for or you don't--no need to waste candidates' time. LinkedIn also said the job posting I applied for had already been up for 2 months (!) by the time I applied, too. The job posting was still up by the time I was rejected. I can't imagine what interview protocol the company is following if they can't hire a single engineering manager within a quarter, when there are a million qualified candidates available right now due to industry layoffs.
A few team / leadership style interviews and 2 system design interviews
