Akamai likes to keep it's candidate selection very tight from the very beginning. Be prepared answer TCP/IP ports used by HTTP, HTTPS and FTP, Internet DNS Records (CN, A Record, MX etc.) and HTTP response codes during the HR phone screening. The next set of questions during hiring Manager interview are predictable - Was there ever a situation when you had to say 'NO' to your Customer? How did you handle it? Most questions in this round of interview are to check if the candidate is a culture fit. Technical Phone interview is short (about 30 minutes). Followed by onsite interview lasts 4+ hours and they are white board interviews. (Questions follow below)
