"How would you respond if an employer asked you to perform task(s) that seemed inappropriate?" Seems like a softball and benign query, but see the question that immediately followed below. He was new at the position of running all the SE's, so he could have been fishing for assistance from a competitor, OR, it was a shrewd combination of questions if you think about.
