Since my media advertising experience aligned with the needs of the role, but was not specifically in the food and beverage industry, I was asked details about my advertising experience planning national product campaigns. In the end, the interviewer believed my experience was very much aligned, but they ultimately expressed that the final decision would likely lean towards someone who primarily had food and beverage experience in media rather than someone with an extensive media campaign background that spanned non food and beverage brands.
