When I asked about salary and job title and what they have to offer me as I am already working but I may know someone who is interested or I may be tempted, the "girl" got offended and said "I've never been asked that before". REALLY!? Note to recruiters of companies OR professional recruiters. This is a common question asked by potential hires. YOU called US! Not US called YOU. We put OUR resumes to SELL ourselves just like you are trying to sell your company to US. You are right, I'll stay at my job that pays $55K with full benefits, since you couldn't fill me in with the details. Learn your script and expect the unexpected questions like "I make this much, what can you offer" and answer with honesty. Nice try and recruiting me for a SALES job. Thanks but you already have a negative review on here!
What would be the top of your priorities list for accomplishing during your first year on the job here at Resources First Foundation?
There was not much technical questions asked just the basic ones like - " State what does ultrasonic mean?, How does a Voltage Divider Works?, Colour coding on Resistors.
I do not recall that any question was either difficult or unexpected. Perhaps a question about my own assessment of what personality trait would be most helpful in coping with the work environment.
If I would take less pay than I make.
And I quote: "uhhhhhhhhh. hm. ummmm. tell me about yourself." before I could answer : "I mean, what've you done.." then came what appeared to be an outside conversation with another associate and laughter and a comment from the interviewer, he said " right?" back to me: "oh, so...you didn't answer the question."
