They wanted to know how profitable I was in past jobs regarding sales.
This was our telephone interview: Interviewer: Have you sold merchant services before? Me: No Interviewer stunned and VERY SURPRISED: You, you haven't? Me: No Interviewer: Well, what sales experience do you have? Me: Do you have my resume there? Interviewer: No (What kind of interviewer is not ready for an interview?) After explaining my sales background the interviewer asks, "Are you OK working as a 1099 employee?" Me: That's not what the job description says. Interviewer: Yes it does Me: No it doesn't Interviewer: Yes it does Me: Well how much is the base? Interviewer: There is no base, it's commission only Me: That's not what the job description says. Interviewer: Yes it does Me: No it doesn't Interviewer: Yes it does
Went over resume line by line asked alot of questions about teach job but they were pretty basic questions. He did most of the talking abut how to dress and how to act. I was a little surprised by primitive nature of he conversation over the 2 times we spoke.
