For example, talk about your experience critiquing policy papers; publicizing your policy position using mass media; collaborating with legislators, community groups, and activists; and providing testimony before elected bodies.

How to answer: With this personality-based question, the hiring manager is assessing whether you have suitable soft skills, such as judgment, problem-solving, and analysis. Use the STAR method to describe a situation in which you faced an ethical dilemma, your task in that situation, your action to resolve the dilemma, and the result. If possible, align your answer to the organization's competency framework.
