Why are you interested in media relations?
The questions for a PR role ranged from PR 101 - do you know PR. To industry-specific questions for the role I was applying for. But everyone was more interested in how I answered questions, less so with understanding all the ins and out of working at Microsoft. I interviewed with the legal and corp. affairs department, and I felt the questions were pretty much wide open, allowing me to demonstrate how I thought about a given situation, not simply reciting a slew of facts and figures. But is was not a cake walk. The questions were tough.
