Many were exactly the same questions as the other steps (and the other hiring departments). While I see the value of keeping the questions the same, some of the questions did not apply to the position. Some questions were asked by an interviewer who clearly didn't quite understand the question themselves. Examples are: "tell us about a time you failed" or "what would you do in this or that situation?" "We care about DEI, tell us how well you would work with a diverse constituency." One of the worst questions I received was how I would resolve an overall reluctance a group of employees felt toward a certain task. It was such a specific question that needed an understanding of the institutional culture.
I was given an exercise to complete over a few days that built out a roadmap with several assumptions around team capacity and deliverables.
