The phone interview was the hardest. The hiring manager knew right away my background was perfect for the job. So, the hardest question was answering why I wanted the job, which was asked in phone screen & manager interview. A simple question, but since this job might be seen as a "step back" from my previous experience, it had to be handled excellently well.

They asked extensively about previous experiences, including those stated in the resume. There were some personal inquiries as well, like hobbies, interests, etc to break the ice probably. Salary requirements also asked.
Comment: I made it to the finals. Originally interviewed for a specific segment and was told it was a difficult decision in the end and they hired someone else but there was another opening coming up for the another segment if interested. I told them yes, stayed in communication with them, was told I wouldn’t need to interview again, was strung along for several months, spoke to the manager of the corporate team and then when the time came was passed over yet again after being given a verbal commitment of being hired.
They asked about ensuring the tone of the proposal especially when dealing with disparate teams and everyone having different agendas.
