The first interview was an introduction to the role and the company. It also focused on understanding my background, experience, and how I could contribute to the team. The conversation felt informative and engaging, and gave me a clear sense of the expectations and culture. The take-home assignment was very well-structured and clearly outlined. It was designed to evaluate the strategies I use for sourcing and how I measure success in those efforts. The task was very relevant and practical. The final interview was a well-balanced mix of behavioural and experience-based questions directly related to the role. There was a live sourcing exercise at the end, which was a great way to show my practical skills in a realistic setting.
The take home assignment was to implement a service that works with data in MongoDB and Redis. After we reviewed my solution, I got asked about various technical things, but there was nothing that'd need special preparation (no complex algorithms I'd never use for the position).
