There wasn't really any tough questions, its more of just a chat about what you bring to the table. They asked about mentoring .
Give a time where you had to teach new technology to someone else?
Tell me about a time where you had to deal with a difficult customer?
Current events questions(mainly political), mostly asking your opinion and predictions on that.
Why do you want to work for Dataminr? What is Dataminr's mission statement? If there is a bombing in Idlib, how would you search twitter for relevant tweets? Are you a native Arabic speaker? What are your salary expectations? If you have a graduate degree, you might be asked about your research.
They ask about how you would theoretically conduct a regular day of classes. Can’t remember much else, very standard and shallow questions. You don’t get much information from them. They don’t tell you about things like writing your own curriculum with no support for capstone classes or they you’ll be called upon to sub other classes at the last minute on a regular basis.
