Technical Trainer Interview Questions
Technical trainers provide the essential service of training a company's employees in new technology. Good candidates must have extensive knowledge in the field and have the curiosity and drive to constantly learn about new technology. Interview questions may include walking through how you would develop a lesson plan or a teaching simulation. Employers are also looking for strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively communicate to people one-on-one or in large groups.

I would have to say that the most difficult or unexpected question that was asked to me by my golds gym interviwer was, "would you steal another trainers clients or new members that joined the gym but were not assigned to you by our sales people"?
They don't really ask difficult questions... they keep the interview so short and simple since the company is trying to talk/hire people continuously to keep the company alive. The more people they interview the more chances they have to hire and keep selling the products to keep the company afloat.
Give me an example of when you were proud of your leadership. This was hard for me because I rated my ability high but blanked on an example.
State your feelings about future opportunities, if applicable, to let the person know you might be interested should your situation change: "If I hadn't already accepted another offer, I would be thrilled to interview with your company. Perhaps in the future I will be in a position to apply again." Skip this step if you have no intentions of applying again.
Behavioral questions, scenario questions
No difficult question. I was asked solely about availability and my experiences with training.
Tell me your background in training and athletics
How long have you worked with dogs and in what capacity?
There were no difficult questions. They just wanted to know why I wanted to work there.
