      Project Manager Interview

      Jan 19, 2026
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Billund
      No offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at the LEGO Group (Billund) in Nov 2025

      Interview

Interview process was clear and smooth, had 3 interviews which took place 1 per week, and I was invited for the first one approximately 2 weeks after applying for the job online. Then about 1,5 weeks until I got the final results. Information about the company and the application process was explained clearly beforehand so I knew what to expect and prepare accordingly. First interview was a 45 mins call with the recruiter asking me standard questions to prepare me for the 2nd interview which was with hiring manger and a specialist from the team. For the 3rd interview, I had to prepare a case presentation along with a short presentation of myself. Then present it in front of the hiring manager and 2 other people from the team, a regional director and a senior program manager. The questions they asked were always interesting and insightful with relevant follow-up questions that turned into good discussions. Unfortunately, they decided to hire the other candidate who had more experience with the specific kind of projects this role was going to work with. Overall, it was a positive experience and I will definitely be applying again. I applied to this job early November 2025, had my interview throughout end of November and early December 2025. Got a final reply before winter holidays.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Hiring manager asked: - Tell me about a time you took the lead in a new initiative and what it achieved. - How do you lead projects end to end? - How do you manage reporting and/ or budgeting within a project? - How do you deal with difficult stakeholders and conflicts? - Why makes you a good candidate for this position? - What’s your motivation for the role, the company? - Give an example of when you worked with digital project. And then the other person from the team asked the more personal questions: - How do you approach learning something new? - What energizes and motivates you? - How do you prioritize your work and stay organized? - You encountered an unexpected issue that delays the project. What do you do?
