      Customer Service Representative Interview

      Oct 26, 2022
      Anonymous Interview Candidate
      Los Angeles, CA
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at the LEGO Group (Los Angeles, CA) in Oct 2022

      Interview

Applied and was invited for recorded video interview by a recruiter 2 days later. Submitted responses 3 business days later, and was invited a full week later for a live video interview in 3 days with 2 hiring managers. I thought the video interview went well, but was not asked very many questions. Was asked why I wanted to work for LEGO, but it was mostly learning and comparing the day-to-day of the role to my current job, which aligned extremely closely. It felt more like an orientation than an interview. I was informed I was overqualified, but I expressed I would and could commit to the role. I was even given a potential start date 2 weeks later and compensation ($21.50USD), and I agreed. I was told to wait later that day or the next day for an update, but I never got a response. Weekend passes, sent an email to the recruiter on Monday expressing I was still interested, and received a response the next day from another recruiter they moved on with other candidates. Very strange to be told I’m overqualified, accepted the low compensation rate, and still not get an offer. I recommend looking elsewhere and field other offers while they process things, and not to commit even after a positive interview.

      Interview

You Have three steps! It is more of a personality test than company knowledge test, they just want to see if you're a good fit for the role! I usually hate when people say that but with Lego honestly you just gotta be yourself!
