Written test. Most questions were basic, but there was one accounting related question specific to the job that I was unfamiliar with.
Tell me what you know about the position.
E&Y gives you a past integration that they performed and you have to be able to walk through how you would conduct the integration. Very interesting since the senior managers and partners will be doing this in reality but you get the opportunity to "interview up".
Tell me about several different methods to value a company. (multiples, fcfs, etc)
Summarize, based on the given documents: Background of the Target; Salient financial extracts of the Target with explanatory reasons focusing on significant movements on the balance sheet and income statement, a strong understanding of the gross margin fluctuations as well; and High-level peer comparison analysis with comments focusing on working capital management, liquidity and profitability in FY11 and FY12.
