The interviews had more of a conversation vibe, never felt like an exam. There were not a list of typical interview questions which I was really happy about. The assignment was quite complex, and phrased in half a page, therefore it required a lot of back and forth clarifications (which I suppose was part of the process on purpose), yet it included information which I found quite irrelevant from the research perspective. The case study was about developing a new feature on their website which helps users indicate some additional needs, apart from the core accommodation booking capabilities. I needed to prepare a complete research plan, including the research questions, methods, timelines, etc. I also needed to imitate a stakeholder interview. The key research question was: at what point of the user journey should they prompt users about the new features? They asked not to spend more than 8 hours on the task.
