Pretty sure they aren't legally allowed to ask, but they asked me how much my current job paid, I didn't want to tell them and they gave me the feeling of "If I don't tell them they def won't hire me", so I told them and then he asked "why do you want to work here if you make that much" and then felt like I had to justify it which isn't fair.
