Ivymount operates the following supported nonprofit organizations: Ivymount School, Maddux School, and Ivymount Outreach Programs. Ivymount School is a non-public special education school that integrates academic, social and pragmatic skills programming in classrooms with low student/teacher ratios. The school currently serves over 200 students with Autism Spectrum Disorders and related disabilities. Maddux School is a developmentally-based, early childhood/primary program for pre-school through second grade students. The school’s unique trans-disciplinary model combines creative approaches with traditional early childhood education. Ivymount Outreach Programs share the expertise of the Ivymount and Maddux Schools with the greater community. Highly trained staff provide services to individuals, families and professionals, including recreational, educational, and therapeutic programs, as well as, training and consultation on a variety of topics in the field of special education.

Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center

Established in 1997, Southwest Autism Research & Resource Center (SARRC) is an internationally recognized nonprofit that conducts innovative research, provides evidence-based practices, disseminates effective training and builds inclusive communities for individuals with autism and their families. SARRC is dedicated to autism research, education, evidence-based treatment, and community outreach. Additionally, SARRC is one of the only autism organizations in the world that provides a lifetime of services for individuals and their families while also conducting cutting-edge research.

Little Leaves Behavioral Services

Grow forward with Little Leaves Behavioral Services. Small steps bring big results at Little Leaves for preschool-aged children with autism, families, and team members alike. This is a journey of impact and meaning. Together we go—and grow—forward. Little Leaves Behavioral Services, a division of FullBloom, is a full-time center-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program for young children living with autism spectrum disorder, run in a preschool-like setting. It is designed for children ages 1- 6 who have been referred for ABA treatment. Each client works one-on-one with a trained behavior technician, addressing individualized goals with a focus on social communication, social interactions, and school readiness skills. The organization operates centers in Maryland, Virginia, and Florida. Little Leaves is accredited by the Behavioral Health Center of Excellence.

Behavioral Framework is a leading provider of ABA therapy in Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina, and Washington DC. Our BHCOE Accredited team is steadfastly committed to working with every child and helping our clients realize their full potential. We focus on making the most of abilities while opening brave new possibilities. Our intensive, holistic model takes into account every environment a child with autism might encounter by promoting open collaboration with parents, teachers, and other therapists – all in an effort to help those on the autism spectrum and their families cope, communicate, function, and thrive. Along with caregivers, educators, diagnosing providers, and insurance companies, we develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for each child and family. Our team of dedicated behavioral experts is committed to providing our diverse community with consistent, quality care based on decades of research and best practices. In 2022, Behavioral Framework introduced Pathways, a diagnostic center specializing in conducting thorough assessments for Autism and other developmental disabilities among children aged 0 to 21. Establishing Pathways has contributed to alleviating the extended wait times children often face to receive a diagnosis.
