Our mission is to implement evidence-based AmeriCorps programs at scale. Our vision is solving complex social problems through the power of AmeriCorps.
Ampact is a national nonprofit that brings people together to tackle some of the most pressing challenges in our communities through AmeriCorps service. Since our founding of Reading Corps in Minnesota in 2003, we've grown from a single program to a national organization, operating in multiple states and supporting more than 3,000 AmeriCorps members each year.
Our programs are rooted in the belief that national service is a powerful tool for solving complex social problems. We focus on two key impact areas: education and healthy futures. Our programs include:
Reading Corps – Helping students from kindergarten to grade 3 build strong reading skills.
Math Corps – Supporting students in grades K–8 with foundational math skills.
Early Learning Corps – Strengthening early literacy and numeracy for preschool-aged children.
Heading Home Corps – Assisting individuals and families experiencing homelessness in finding stable housing.
Recovery Corps – Supporting people in recovery and expanding access to recovery resources.
