Since 1983, it's been our mission to inspire safer workplaces by protecting workers from harm and helping the injured recover. Over the past 40+ years, we’ve expanded to over 35,000 customers in 34 states, and we've grown our offerings to include vocational rehabilitation, loss prevention, medical services and more. Though much has changed through the years, our focus continues to be unrivaled customer service, safety, and providing better outcomes for employers and injured workers. We are headquartered in Bloomington, Minnesota, and serve employers of all sizes and types in 34 states. SFM has a history of being ranked a top employer. Most recently, SFM ranked as the eighth best place to work among midsize employers in Minnesota for 2024 by the Star Tribune. The Star Tribune’s Top 200 workplaces were chosen based on anonymous surveys of employees, which asked them to rank their employers in areas such as quality of leadership, cooperation between departments, meaningfulness of work, appreciation from coworkers, positivity of workplace, flexibility in scheduling, level of pay and quality of benefits. SFM has earned the accolade four out of the four times the company has participated.
