Tuition Reimbursement Spotlight: How has participating in the program helped you professionally or personally? One of the hardest things to consider as a full-time college student who works was the concept of work-life balance. The rules of Emler's Tuition Reimbursement have helped me achieve those hurdles. Being that the program is grade based where you only get reimbursed for classes you get A's and B's in, it pushes students like myself to work hard and to do good in school. With the program motivating me to get good grades, it sets me up for a successful future. Especially as a pre-med student, grades are extremely important. Getting good grades and a good GPA is what can help a student stand out when it comes to internships and grad school applications, which is incredibly crucial in my career path. With the Tuition Reimbursement award also being based on my work ethic and standing, the Tuition Reimbursement program motivates me to not only be a better student, but to also be a better employee. The program has really helped me to always put my best face forward, and has even made me more enthusiastic about spreading Emler's mission of saving lives. I was motivated to use the tuition reimbursement program so that I would receive a portion of my tuition back after each semester of school. What degree did you pursue or are you pursuing? I am pursuing a degree in psychology with a minor in human services. How has participating in the program helped you professionally or personally? Participating in this program has helped me to pay off my school while working, so that I don't have student loans to repay. How would you describe your overall experience with the program? I think this program is great and has even given me a little bit of extra drive to get even better grades. How has your current role helped you apply what you learned or supported your long-term career goals? I have been working for Emler Swim School for 5 years, and I feel that every role I have been in has taught me something that will be useful for my future. I want to go into education, so I have learned how to adjust to kids' needs and how to help parents. What would you say to a colleague who is considering using the program?
