IRIS Software Group hopes that the market for accounting and finance software continues to bloom. The company offers a variety of enterprise software for functions such as accounting, ticketing, staff planning, and automated correspondence. Among its variety of customers are not-for profits, accounting firms, medical practices, and law firms. The group's client list has included npower, The Liverpool Football Club, Connaught, Electrolux's UK operations, and Wadsworth. IRIS Software Group was formed by the 2007 merger between IRIS Software Group and Computer Software Group. In 2011 private equity firm Hellman & Friedman sold its majority ownership in IRIS Software to HgCapital.
