The oldest family-owned firearms maker in America and the largest pump-action shotgun maker in the world, Mossberg has more than 100 design and utility patents to its name. Shotguns are the company's specialty, but it also produces rifles; accessories such as barrels, choke tubes, and magazines; and hunting apparel. In addition to its guns for hunting, home protection, and target shooting, Mossberg manufactures exclusive firearms for US military and law enforcement agencies. The company is a subsidiary of Mossberg Corporation, which also owns shotgun maker Maverick Arms.
