With mills in Pennsylvania and Indiana, it is a leading North American producer of coated recycled paperboard (CRB), manufacturing about 300,000 tons of it annually. Its MasterWorks product line includes everything from freezer-enhanced CRB to uncoated eco-friendly paperboard. End-use markets for CRB include beverages, dry and frozen foods, household goods, and oral care products. PaperWorks Industries merged with Specialized Packaging Group (SPG) in July 2009. The combined company retains the PaperWorks Industries name. It is controlled by private investment firm Sun Capital Partners.
