The compensation is low, below market rate for a number of jobs, and there's no clear process or understanding of raises, COL bumps, etc.. While the flexibility of remote is great and the new addition of benefits help, it's still not enough to make the salaries competitive with other companies in the tech space. You run the risk of losing good people as they leave for the sole reason of making more money. There is a lack of communication across the board, it can be difficult to know when things are changing, what's going on in other areas, and to keep track of important company news.

The locations chosen do not always appear to consider the needs or circumstances of a globally distributed workforce, and employees are now required to go through formal accommodation processes simply to avoid international travel due to health or safety concerns.
