- lost competitive edge some years ago, from boasting of being "employer of choice" to "employer of no choice"
- constant turn-over, no desire/solution for retention of competent engineers resulting of a growing sea of mediocrity
- some clients just want staff augmentation (you'll be despised by the client's Dev team and treated badly)
- limited growth if you land in the wrong project
- promotions are not based on merit but on billing for the client
- US management and leadership competence is questionable, with dubious ideas (i.e. fluid workforce, war on free candy)
- every year we get a new "CTO" who nobody knows what this person does
