Pros

Hours are flexible, can usually work in different shifts in order to accommodate students, which at the time I was. Free food: once the daily cooked food items are over the 'expired' timeline, which is by 5 a.m the next morning, employees can eat it. I had plenty of free meals. Friendly customers especially if you are outgoing and sociable. It is easy to make friends with regular customers.

Cons

Hours can be really long, especially if co-workers call in sick. Sometimes I got 13+ on the overnight shift. Checking IDs for smokers even if they look old as dirt is annoying especially at 'rush hours'. Pay is low and managers can nickel and dime you.
