There is a lot of room for career growth if you are willing to relocate.

Cons

The work life balance is all work and very little life. The customer comes first, which puts money in your pocket; but at what cost to your family.

Training is a core part of employee development here at 84. We want to make sure we give our employees all the opportunities available to aid in their personal development. We do this by providing classroom training at our Team Headquarters location as well as through our online learning system called Brainshark. Also, we have an Early Development Program in place for Manager Trainees if they would like to pursue a career in store management, a training for Manager Trainees that would like to pursue a Sales career, and a 3 day training for our Yard Person position.

Having to deal with incompetent staff & management. Terrible pay/ hours, mediocre benefits...this company is not worth your time.

The Manager Trainee position is an entry level position. In this role we challenge our Associates to show their leadership potential, and their drive to succeed. You can get all the hours you want if there is work... my manager is great..

Cons

There is no work. You constantly struggle to find legitimate work to do. Everything is constantly shifting around and you are expected to constantly bend over backwards to accommodate the company that cannot even pay their workers a living wage. Oh yeah, and there is no room for growth. Like.. at all.
