Late model equipment and they offer benefits. It's a wonderful company to work for if you have no life or hate your home life.
Cons
Deemed a high risk motor carrier for its carelessness in operating within legal regulations. They're a red flag with DOT with their hazmat. Enjoy all of those level 1 inspections you'll be subjected to. Late model equipment that is prone to breaking down an awful lot. With each pay raise you get as time progresses, your co-pays on insurance also rise. You never quite get ahead working here. The more you do for these ungrateful people, the more you'll be used and abused while the slackers get the light loads and easy runs. OT paid after 45hrs. The fools in the office will often try to coerce ignorant drivers into illegally using the 16hr exception to run more freight. That's not its actual purpose! There is no work-life balance. There is only Pyle. If you want to see your family and friends more, have them work there. Yes, that is what they'll tell you. Like an abusive partner, they'll attempt to drill into your mind there is no better place than Pyle, and if you leave, nobody else is going to want you. Many drivers actually believe that horrible lie. Drivers of this company: The way this one operates is far removed from reality and there are better ones out there. You're worth more than you realize. Do yourselves and your families a favor by ditching this abusive partner and go find yourself a superior one who'll treat you with dignity, respect, and like an adult.
