Pros

- Established in 1907 (Notable) - Convenient Old City location (Immediately beside Liberty Bell) - Great cause - Intriguing science to work beside

Cons

- No maternity leave - No offered training or workshops (Additionally, education credit compensation very low and kicks in only after 2 years + of employment) No one I know of here is actively pursuing education on the side. - No/ lack of office culture (Envison opposite of hip, innovative culture) - New ideas do not cultivate - Managers need management training - Directors is not a fit for their department but they remain - Some senior staff on team is toxic for growth and renewal of department (Senior staff will tease and berate; management staff when addressed will explain that is how they are and to leave them be. If senior staff complains to management about you, however, it is taken as fact and changes implemented without a discussion with you.) - Disorganized

Great team members and a mostly supportive environment, decent starting salary, helpful HR department.

Cons

Very high pressure environment with an emphasis on perfection instead of training.
