Pros
I was perfectly content at my previous job, with perks like unlimited PTO and a snack kitchen — but that place has nothing on AAPC. In addition to offering open PTO and a kitchen full of food, lunch is served M-Th, and fresh coffee and bagels are available every morning. You will not go hungry.
Those are great benefits, don’t get me wrong. But you don’t come to work just for the free food. You come because you love your colleagues, you feel understood and supported by your manager and you like working in a collaborative environment — for a business that just. keeps. growing. That’s all available at AAPC. I love the people, I believe in the mission of the company, the work/life balance is second to none (flexible work hours and WFH options as needed), and the compensation is competitive.
Needless to say, I’m a fan.
Cons
The office location...isn't great. But I hear we'll be moving sometime later this year. For now, it's really not bad. There is tons of free parking, it's right off the freeway and it's close-ish to downtown.
