Pros

-salad bar -2, yes 2 water fountains not in the kitchen -2 sets of restrooms

Cons

-no 401k match -extremely cheap Office equipment -benefits are lacking -no bonuses ( which we were promised otherwise in the hiring process) -lowering the base pay by 20k-30k -micromanagement -not employee driven -no spiffs -no incentives -verbiage in the proposals that we send to our clients can really get us in legal issues -restrooms are disgusting, I understand we are in West Valley City, Utah. But hire someone to mop up the bathroom at least once a month. -2 months ago for having a big month, we were each given a .50 cent hot wheels toy car with a note that said good job.( are we second graders?) -weekly condescending emails from management no matter how much volume we make the company. -as an employee, I have started to loose my creativity, my inspiration for ideas, due to the negative vibe we get from management -no product knowledge training (just study what we have on the website) -due to the tension being so high, and stress levels increase, a fight between our team almost broke out 3 days ago -fulfillment on the back end, once we do sell products, it never gets there, or is late, and client is contacting us and loosing patients with us and does not want to buy from us again. (there goes our book of business we built.) -AAPC has only had a sales division for one year -they do not know how, or try to learn how to run a sales department. -they are not open to suggestions.( individuals just laid off for trying to fight for our team, who's next?) -AAPC has such bad rep on the internet , we are talking about changing the company name? instead of being a better company. - endless list, however, hopefully by the end of this month or the next I will have a new job.

Pros

There are a lot of nice people working there, and many wonderful customers. If you're a Utahn looking for a job you just go to and leave every day, this is the place to be.

Cons

AAPC hasn’t the rigor or discipline to truly be an educational provider, and it is structured more as a multi-level marketing company than a professional membership organization. The company is all based on marketing and sales, rather than sharing knowledge and encouraging career advancement with members. Employees who are ambitious, hold advanced degrees, are of color, are of age, female, or not LDS find their careers frustrating or short. Salt Lake City staff work in cubicles in a dark warehouse in a food desert in a sketchy industrial district. Benefits are few compared to other Utah companies. AAPC’s owner is serving 7 years in a federal prison for bribery.

Pros

Free Lunch Ski Passes Gym Flexible Scheduling (only if you are salary) Food Trucks

Cons

If you are not part of the "legacy clique" nobody cares about you or your opinion and they are allowed to treat everyone with complete disrespect and the President laughs it off because he thinks they are funny Upper management says they listen to things and are taking feedback but its all talk and no show The events team are some of the rudest people in the building, everyone tries to avoid them if they can

It’s unfortunate your experience with the “legacy staff” and the Events team has been poor. We encourage you to provide details with management as soon as possible. In addition, would love to learn of any lack of action on critical feedback. Progress against internal and external initiatives are discussed and actioned in committees open to all staff (e.g. culture, product roadmap), and you can be an active participant in positive change. You might be surprised to learn that most of the decisions made are bottom up, not top down as you may have been led to believe. Finally, my door is always open (as should those of all leaders) to any team members with challenges or concerns. Hope to hear from you soon!
