Pros

Amazing place to work, boss was very supportive and treated me as a comrade rather than a subordinate.

Cons

Communication across departments was a bit slim.

Pros

For such a large organization, they are buttoned up from top to bottom; extremely transparent and top management is accessible; the work overall is diverse and interesting and you feel like you are making a difference; great colleagues and volunteers.

Cons

The HR process upon giving my notice was essentially non-existent, no exit interview, sent me a paycheck after I left that I had to return to the company ... it was almost like I was the 1st person to ever leave AARP.
