      Pros

      Owned & Operated Stations (O&Os) have more advantages over an affiliate. Good pay & benefits, the stations are usually in top markets and are the #1 station in that market, lots of resources to pull from, budgets aren't too tight with the backing of Disney.

      Cons

      You are apart of a massive company so, you can get lost in the corporate structure. You are at the mercy of what ABC national wants, and you can possible work awful hours (its TV news after all).
