The management in the mid range is horrible. The egos run rampant. Departments are mismanaged, not allowing talent to do what they do best. The Q12 is a joke. Everyone answers 5 so they don't have to sit through weeks of let's discuss and improve meetings that get nowhere. It is a disservice to the company. The raises are non-existent. The pay is probably some of the lowest in the industry. One of the core values is opportunity. Good luck finding out if any exist, there is no corporate electronic billboard to post opportunities. If your manager doesn't want to let you go to another department, they can stop it from happening. You need to get approval before you even look for further opportunity.

Management and HR are all about the company, could work a 14 hour day and have to be back 10 hours later the next day... They will ignore truck issues at times and overload trucks to pop on scales if your not smart... Disrespectful talking down to employees and a complete disregard for personal problems, taking a day off for a funeral is considered not important enough... And the dispatcher will push you to come in regardless. Understaffed warehouse with ignorant people who instigate fights yet you are required to help in warehouse and operate forklifts when loads are slow... They bleed you dry, being good at your job gets you more on your plate and the lazy people get rewarded This has been my experience at the Alsip Il location... I have heard other locations are much better and it all depends on management.
