Pros

Good work life balance. I liked working with most of the people there.

Cons

New CEO decided he didn't like the projects my team had been working on for the past few years so the whole team was laid off, which I understand, But no notice or severance was given so I was left without any source of income or time to find another position. Clearly not concerned about the people that work them. Also, different departments sometimes do not work well together

As an ABM employee,I was a member of the teamster 727 union.Because of that,I got great health benefits with 100% coverage without copay and tuition reimbursement for my Associate degree program.

Cons

The hourly rate is not fantastic,but every year you get 55 cents increase.

Great networking opportunity. Has potential.

Cons

Not much training, pretty much wing it as it goes. Nothing formalized. Managers and supervisors either don't care about the service being provided or they don't care about their employees or both.
