Pros

Incredibly supportive department from office support to department chair. Supervisors were encouraging and willing to give recognition for good work. Excellent resources and a willingness to go the extra mile for employees. Beautiful new campus in Round Rock.

Cons

While adjunct work is difficult by nature and community colleges can foster a sense of disconnectedness when there are multiple campuses, these effects were minimal at ACC. Really, the only big issue is the lack of close faculty parking!

Very considering when it comes to your school schedule. Excellent pay for part time work. Friendly work environment. The money purchase plan allows you to save while working.

Cons

Not much in terms of advancement opportunities. Amount of hours is capped at 19 per week with no exceptions.
