      Pros

      The most positive work environment I have experienced. ACES is mission and values driven. Very talented team members that are supportive and life long learners.

      Cons

      We need to continue finding talented staff to fulfill the waiting list of clients. Health care is becoming more complex and makes finding the right people is our biggest challenge.

      Pros

      Lots of autonomy and independence. You can pick up substitute sessions to get more hours. Satisfaction of knowing you're making a difference in the lives of autistic children & their families.

      Cons

      Two-week training consisted of a lot of online reading & watching & listening to 2 different trainers on different days read word-for-word from a PowerPoint. The trainers and several other employees all have a different understanding of certain procedural policies. Most employees are Behavior Interventionists, which is a part time position. No benefits for part time & can be emotionally & physically draining work, leading to high turn-over rate.

      The supervisors give you great support when it comes to a kiddo. If you love working with Kids this is a great place to start
