Decent pay and relo benefits (at least for experienced hires) Exposure to large capital projects at a relatively low experience level Knowledgeable about most chemical units ops, good place to learn and grow your skils

Cons

Unreasonable working hours Promotions and training are entirely up to upper management, very political Nepotism and favoritism are rampant Hourly workers are given special treatment, salaried routinely berated and denied common perks of being a salaried professional
