Great people, great product, poor execution

Pros

You will legitimately work with some of the brightest, best talent out there. I rarely worked with someone who wasn't open to helping if it was in their capacity to do so.

Cons

They lack an internal structured approach to developing their workforce which was not what I expected of an organization like this. A lack of file and communications plan, information management, structured statement of work and established training structure with certified trainers to produce consistent, high preforming associates leave this role in a fend for yourself (sink or swim) model. That's not to say your peers don't want you to succeed, they absolutely help in any way they can. However, without a structure to hang your organization on, the turnover here is incredibly high due to burn out.

Pros

I work with a terrific team. My management team is effective, supportive and approachable. ADP Canada has made its vision clear to its employees. During my tenure I have worked in four different roles - ADP is very good at offering opportunity to its employees.

Cons

My role is in development. At times, I am not completely certain what my responsibilites are. Still not feeling that we are One ADP - various departments are still siloed. The vacation policy is horrible. I need to wait ten years before my entitlement increases? Really? This is not a good reward for employees.
