Pros

-Despite what others say, there are some growth and job opportunity. -Normally, really good people to work with. -Depending on what you do, it's consistent work. -As a business, I really believe that ADP is a good company to work for.

Cons

-Job opportunities depend on your location, education, or who you know. -Mgmt has a tendency of burning their people out, sometimes for their own gain and sometimes for the company gain. -Work / Life balance could be better -You are not always paid what you are worth or what the job entails.

Pros

Employee concerns are heard. The managers are always willing to sit down and listen. ADP does a great job promoting diversity and inclusion and there are always fun activities taking place. They are flexible with working at home when the situation arrises. The health center and fitness center and our location are also great benefits.

Cons

Their payroll system is a bit antiquated. It uses an old mainframe MS Dos type of system to run the payroll. The system for processing payroll is also not centralized into one system or program. There are many moving parts to processing a payroll and the training is not always adequate for someone new coming into the wold of payroll.

Parental Leave

Pros

The parental leave has been incredible. I was given 12 weeks of 100% paid leave after the delivery of my child. Prior to going on leave, I was allowed to work from home for an entire month.

Cons

I have had VPs and managers tell me that when new process, methods, and approaches are rolled out that we should be "prepared to fail" due to their new developments. That is far from encouraging. They are willing to watch us fail and suffer in our roles.
