Pros

Large company with many business units offers many opportunities, good benefits and a positive culture.

Cons

Organization is transforming as the business environment changes. Stability and job retention isn't what it used to be. As with any large company, there are good and bad areas to work.

Pros

Plenty of job security, company is growing, many departments to choose from if you do not like the one you are in

Cons

Leadership/management is incredibly out of touch with reality, workload is unreasonable, pay is terrible, favoritism is rampant, turnover is high, almost zero work/life balance, no accountability, cross-departmental collaboration is non-existent

Pros

I was unsure if working at ADP would be a good decision as I am a recent graduate. I thought sales would be a very difficult first job for me. But I was very wrong! I have been with ADP for almost 6 months. Their sales training program was phenomenal and they truly help in making you understand on how to be a CONSULTANT and not your typical sales person. I have learned how to speak to businesses on a high level and benefiting them with ADP's products, instead of product pitching. ADP has taught me skills that I know can take me farther in my career and my future. When I had issues with my on boarding, C-level management was quick to help and made me feel extremely comfortable. I know other reviews mentioned that management doesn't care about you, just your quota, but I disagree. Management has continuously done what they can to make me feel comfortable in my role, and if I didn't, they worked very hard to find me a position that I'd feel better in. I have had discussions with the C-levels at ADP and realized that I DID matter, they were very open to feedback and bettering their processes from the ground up. ADP management is here for your success! I have enjoyed my time here as there is huge opportunity for career growth since ADP is a large organization.

Cons

One thing ADP values is effort and hard work. You have to be willing to work hard (meeting quota is one of those values) and they will give you the world! If you are struggling to meet quota, ADP will help you no matter what to get you to where you need to be. If you don't have the work ethic or little interest to do well in sales, I imagine this role would be very hard to fulfill. This role is very dependent on your individual work ethic, which can be difficult for people. People who don't have the work ethic or passion to get better will definitely struggle in this role. ADP rewards hard workers!
