Pros

Awesome training, Good pay, freedom

Cons

Internal communication can be improved. Also, upper management cares more about getting a deal than focusing on what the customer wants. If you do well, it is easy to get promoted.

Hello DM in Tucson, We’re really proud of our training program and are so glad it’s helping you develop your career. You’ve likely heard “integrity is everything” is a core value we live at ADP. If you think we’re missing out on opportunities to service our clients, make your voice heard and be the change you want to see. Many programs have come from an associate’s ideas on how to improve. You are truly in the driver’s seat of your career at ADP. Make it count.

Worst Company to work for

Pros

great colleagues of the same level you work with

Cons

Account Advocates - GM (General Motors) advocates are overworked, overloaded with accounts. The stress level between the GM side and the other car manufacturers are completely the opposite. Management asked you to give a review of the company, but it has to be a 'good' review. How pathetic. Most managers are more concerned about themselves than that of their employee's welfare. Promotions in the company is based on how well you know "your management' rather than how well you do your job. If in any case, you had a disagreement with your manager, IT WILL be used against you on your performance review. Any kind of HR issues about your manager, has to be kept discreet. The fact that 'most' management avoids any kind of 'email' communications when its a major concern, shows you how things are being diverted away from the corporate. In a recent company meeting, they have threatened us about anyone who has a negative opinion or negative feedback will be look down upon and will be terminated. Where is the support for those employees? Temporary and contract employees are not allowed to take part in any 'activities' designed to boost moral in the company, i.e. Bagel Mondays (bagels? are you serious?). The turnover in this particular department of ADP is so high and I just don't understand why the Corporate is not seeing the pattern. Even the car dealership we service are not satisfied with our work anymore due to the overwhelming account loads, each account advocates have.

Pros

They still have a pension & tuition reimbursement, that's pretty amazing.

Cons

Horrible culture, from middle to senior management. They have a lot of very hard working people, but they company doesn't value them. Many people left as soon as the economy picked up. When I found a new job, a co-worker said "you won the lottery". Sad because it could be a cool place to work.
