When your compensation goes to a certain level, you start to worry about RIF or reduction in Force. Worked there from 2006 - 2021, with very little off shore consulting support in the early years. By 2016 massive increase in offshore teams replacing US consultants. I understand they can bring on 10 consultants for the price of a single US consultant, but it sucks.

- a lot of the entry level/customer facing roles have high turnover - you can’t switch positions for at least 18 months in any given role - the project service team is very small and niche and they don’t have as robust of a training period as a lot of the other roles -for being such a small/niche team working projects you would think this role was salary, or paid more. Its hourly, 40 hours a week (8:30-5pm with a 30 minute lunch break to clock out for each day for me, but shifts can vary a little)
