Pros

Opportunity for good income if you have a Sales Executive (sales manager) that has had a winning team in the past two years and you get a territory in a strong market such as Dallas or Atlanta.

Cons

Avoid working for a new sales manager or one that has been under performing the past few years. Forget the hope of having a true "coach" as a manager. You better be a quick learner and put numbers on the board every single month (yes, they expect this even in the national accounts division).

Pros

ADP's pay structure for it's field employees (customer service and support functions) is nice. Also, If you pursue additional credentials (i.e payroll certifications) ADP will reimburse you for your hard work. They also offer tuition reimbursement. The retirement benefits are generous in that ADP offers both a 401 K and pension plan. Finally, there are options for certain employees to work from home, or relocate to another field office.

Cons

Workloads are overwhelming, departments are understaffed, processes are disorganized, and middle management is often unqualified to handle the issues effectively and quickly. As a result, employees can feel as though they are on a gerbil wheel going 100 miles per hour. Every day was a constant "emergency"... to see employees crying or losing their tempers was pretty common.
