      ..vast project experience across regions...most of the staff are professional...skill transfer and learning...can transfer offices...good office hardware...teams still pushing to maintain the studio/small office attitude...

      Cons

      ...extremely long hours...too much paper work requirements that are constantly being revised...gives the feeling that the company does not trust the employees...bottomline attitude, rushing projects do not help in maintaining/improving reputation...let the staff burn...results in high turn-over and rush hirings to fill in the sudden vacancies...hiring standards slowly going down...pay can improve....

      Strong prospects and rapid rewards for any of the following: Pin-striped 'Yes men' Greedy fat cats Slippery, back-stabbing project managers Impressionable graduates with heads too large to fit through a standard doorway Meek (preferably invisible) engineers may be tolerated

      Politics and presentation is name of the game - engineering features strongly only in the rhetoric. Glitzy office adds a kind of sickly gloss to the conniving whispers all around. The person sitting next to you could be escorted from the building at any moment, and with no explanation - if they haven't already. If you think you know how kiss A, think again, you've got some serious competition. Network - slurp. Network - slurp.. Network - slurp. 24/7. It takes a special kind of individual to be bothered with all that. But pass that test, and you'll be an AECOM lifer.
