      Great local office, distant upper management.

      Pros

      1) Global opportunities for people and interesting jobs. 2) Great local offices. 3) Large company with experts in any field if you can find them. 4) Very flexible work schedule. If you find the right office, AECOM is a great place to work. The Wakefield office has lots of projects from all over the world, expertise in lots of fields, flexible managers, and great people.

      Cons

      1) Upper management making decisions without regards to the employees that are affected by them. 2) Very big - so big that it's hard to change things quickly. This is a big company - so individuals get lost in the big corporate environment. Listen, this is a tough economy so yes money is a focus. It's a business and needs to make a profit. However, decisions are made that seem to not to take into account that employees are actual people sometime. This is generally does not apply at the office level, but above that.
